With over 30 years of knuckle-breaking practice and professional performance, Dean Nicholas has established himself as one of the country's leading close-up sleight of hand magicians — with performances for stars of stage and screen, and Royalty worldwide.

Dean's passion for magic was ignited at the age of seven, watching the great Doug Henning perform his famous cup and ball routine on a TV special. By the age of twelve, he was performing his first professional live magic show at London's Covent Garden — a residency he held for four years.

He went on to train at the renowned Davenports of London — one of the world's most respected magic institutions — under the watchful eye of Mr Al Woodrow, Pat Page, and the Incredible Larry Barnes. The foundation built there has underpinned every performance since.

From private parties and weddings to corporate functions, festivals, theatre productions, after dinner speaking, and television and radio — Dean's approach is always tailored to the occasion. His background in the hospitality industry means he works seamlessly alongside planners, hosts and staff — discreet when necessary, dynamic when needed.

Based in Portsmouth and performing worldwide. Dean performs for a limited number of dates each month — to ensure his full attention and artistry at every event, book early.
